Signage design and documentation for the new LAX Midfield Satellite Concourse (MSC) at Los Angeles International Airport. The program includes the 750,000 square foot satellite concourse, as well as the connecting gateway, passenger tunnel, and existing Tom Bradley Int’l Terminal (TBIT) connection. Initial passenger path of travel studies helped to inform an overall wayfinding strategy consistent for passengers traveling from TBIT to the MSC. The design uses the Los Angeles International Airport wayfinding standards as a base for typography and symbols but plays with form and materiality to compliment the architecture.
